A Pandemic Pivot to Seltzer Innovation

Picture this: February 2020. We were all set to launch Social Club Seltzer—a hard seltzer for hustlers—in a saturated market. Then the pandemic hit, upending everything. Socializing was off the table, and our target audience felt the sting of job losses and economic uncertainty. So we pivoted. Instead of a conventional launch, we hired these very creatives to help us build the damn thing.

Our launch film called on designers, writers, filmmakers, producers, and all-around creatives to co-create Social Club’s first campaign. The inaugural “Create the Club” class featured 10 incredible talents, each receiving a custom brief tailored to their craft—from music and filmmaking to textile design and illustration.
